Child and Adolescent  Partial Hospitalization Program (CAPH)

An integral part of your Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Training. The CAPH is an intermediate level of care for patients between the ages of 12-18 years old, generally referred from within system referrals of outpatient providers or stepping down from a higher level of care such as inpatient psychiatry (4S). The general population have conditions such as MDD, ADHD, Autism, and Social Anxiety Disorder.

Before You Start

  • Email GME office Vanessa T. Henschel – GME Administrator Vanessa.t.henschel.civ@mail.mil documents below and to confirm orientation reception along with pre-rotation documents.

    • DoD HIPAA Training (can be downloaded from JKO)

    • DoD Cyber Awareness Training (can be downloaded from JKO)

    • BLS Card

    • State-issued training licenses (if you possess any)

  • Communicate any upcoming leave dates/dates of absence from the rotation to the service chief for staffing and appropriate program adjustments. You’re an important part of the rotation!
